Overview

This Privacy Policy governs how Nekoway ("Nekoway", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects user information when you use our website, apps and VPN service (the "Service"). It covers account identifiers, limited technical data and interaction history. Privacy is the core of the Service, and we collect as little as possible.

1. General Provisions

This Policy governs how user information is processed and protected when using the Service.

By using the Service, you confirm that you agree with these conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run your account and protect the Service:

• account identifiers — your email address, account ID and subscription status
• limited technical and operational data — device / active-device count, security and abuse-related events, and basic server-health metrics
• a payment-provider invoice ID and plan type, to link a payment to a subscription
• interaction with our website (see Cookies and Analytics below)

We do not require passport data, documents, photographs, or any personal information beyond the minimum necessary to operate the Service.

Data We Never Collect (No-Logs)

Nekoway does not log or store your VPN activity. We never keep:

• browsing history
• DNS queries
• traffic content
• websites visited
• destination IP addresses
• the content of your communications

Payment Data

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Nekoway does not store private keys, seed phrases or full payment credentials. Blockchain transactions may be public depending on the network you choose.

Abuse Prevention

To prevent abuse of our free trial (one per person), we store a one-way hash of the IP address seen when an account is created, together with a normalized form of the account email. These are used only to detect duplicate free-trial sign-ups. The raw IP address is not stored, and this does not apply to your VPN traffic, which is not logged.

Cookies and Analytics

The site uses a cookie only to remember your chosen language, plus a browser storage value for your light/dark theme. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. For aggregate visitor counts we store only a daily-rotating one-way hash of the IP address (never the raw IP); it cannot identify you or link your visits across different days.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used exclusively to:

• provide and operate the Service
• communicate with you, including notifications and support
• prevent abuse and fraud and keep the network healthy
• analyse and improve the Service

— and nothing more.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties except when: it is required by law; it is necessary to fulfil our obligations (for example, payment processing, hosting and mail providers, which process only the data necessary for their function); or you consent.

5. Data Storage and Protection

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, while your account is active, or as required by law.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Disclaimer

You acknowledge that transmitting data over the internet involves inherent risks.

To the extent permitted by law, Nekoway is not responsible for loss, theft or disclosure of data caused by third parties or by you.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
